Job Description:

The Sr Manager, Business Development will lead the strategy, acquisition, and management of Mudrex’s B2B2C distribution network. This role is responsible for expanding and scaling our ecosystem of sub-brokers, master brokers, trading schools, authorized personnel, and fund managers. The ideal candidate will drive daily sales operations to onboard new partners, optimize commission structures for mutual profitability, and directly manage spot and futures trading volume targets across the entire partner network.

Key Responsibilities

Sub-Broker & Master Broker Network Expansion

  • Design and execute targeted digital and outbound campaigns to identify and onboard new sub-brokers and authorized personnel across diverse geographies.

  • Establish and scale a Master Broker model, identifying regional partners capable of recruiting, managing, and driving trading activity within sub-broker networks beneath them.

  • Source, onboard, and manage relationships with asset managers and fund managers with established HNI client networks.

Trading School Engagement & Onboarding

  • Target, pitch, and secure strategic partnerships with trading schools, educational institutes, and retail trading communities.

  • Implement dedicated enablement strategies and tailored support frameworks to help trading schools successfully transition their student base into active traders on Mudrex.

Partner Activation and Volume Management

  • Own and achieve specific spot and futures trading volume targets driven through the entire partner distribution network.

  • Oversee daily sales and account operations to ensure partners with small-to-large customer bases are consistently active and productive.

  • Coordinate cross-functionally to provide all partner segments with necessary marketing collateral, operational enablement tools, and priority customer support.

Infrastructure and Commercial Operations

  • Manage strategic relationships with third-party infrastructure providers, including algorithmic trading and signal providers, to ensure stable trading options and sustained volume for partner clients.

  • Evaluate, design, and manage competitive yet profitable commission and reward structures that incentivize long-term partner retention, optimize spot/futures distribution, and ensure scalable revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with internal compliance and product teams to ensure all partnership frameworks, referral models, and fund management operations adhere to regional regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, B2B2C sales, or partnership management within the fintech, brokerage, traditional finance, or cryptocurrency sectors.

  • Proven track record of owning and achieving trading volume targets, specifically within spot and derivatives/futures markets.

  • Experience building and managing multi-tiered affiliate, sub-broker, or franchisee distribution networks.

  • Demonstrated success in building corporate partnerships with educational entities, trading academies, or retail financial communities.

  • Experience managing high-value relationships with institutional clients, HNI fund managers, and external technical infrastructure vendors.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience designing and optimizing commercial commission models, revenue-share frameworks, and incentive structures.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of managing targets and leading business development or relationship management teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Volume targets achieved for both spot and futures trading across the partner network.

  • Total growth and geographic expansion of the partner network, categorized by sub-brokers and trading schools.

  • Active partner ratio and overall trading volume driven through partner networks.

  • Net revenue generated from partnerships relative to payout and commission costs.
